Great art needs support
For three years, 1-Cosmogony was developed in the concentrated silence of the studio, assembled fragment by fragment and sustained entirely through personal commitment before entering the public sphere.
With 2-Polarity, the scale shifts.
This new collection unfolds over nearly two years and brings together ten large-format works, each requiring eight to ten weeks of continuous studio work. Where 1-Cosmogony explored unity through the gathering of multiplicity into a singular presence, 2-Polarity turns toward tension, toward the forces that define form precisely because they oppose one another. Light and shadow. Day and night. Individual and collective.
Some works will exist as paired presences, confronting and answering each other across space. Others will reveal a second state through light-sensitive pigments, transforming from day to night and suggesting that truth is rarely singular. At its core, the collection reflects on a question that resonates deeply within the present moment: how does one inhabit polarity without dissolving into division?
2- Polarity
The next collection
To support 2-Polarity is not an act of generosity. It is a statement of position.
The Conditions of Creation
Each of the ten works demands sustained concentration, physical engagement with material, and the uninterrupted time necessary for maturation.
While the material components, raw elements and custom framing, remain measurable, the true requirement of this collection lies in duration: nearly twenty-four months of protected studio work.
To secure these conditions, a patronage threshold of 30,000 euros is envisioned over the course of the project. This support does not represent expansion or excess. It safeguards the time, continuity, and structural stability required for the body of work to emerge at its intended scale.
Patronage
Patronage, in this context, is not transactional. It is an act of alignment with a process still in formation. Those who choose to support 2-Polarity do not simply encounter the finished works at exhibition; they participate in the invisible architecture that allows them to exist. Three forms of patronage accompany the project, reflecting different degrees of proximity, from foundational support of the creative process to deeper engagement with the evolving collection. Each patron is acknowledged within the official communications related to the work and invited into a closer dialogue with its development. A limited circle of ten Founding Patrons will accompany the project at its structural core, helping to secure the continuity necessary for its completion.
3 forms of patronage
Each form of patronage reflects a different degree of proximity to the work. All patrons are acknowledged within official communications related to the collection.

Why now ?
Karine Mimoun is at an inflection point. 1-Cosmogony has established a practice, a language and a vision that is entirely her own. 2-Polarity is where that vision expands into its full ambition: larger, more sensory, more philosophically urgent. The patrons who support this moment will not only enable the work, they will be part of a story that, in the fullness of time, will be worth telling. A Shared Commitment
The intention is to gather approximately thirty patrons over the next two years, forming not a campaign, but a constellation of shared conviction around the emergence of this collection.
For three years, the previous body of work was carried independently. 2-Polarity opens a different movement, one sustained not by solitude, but by shared belief.
